Payment Settlement

The payment settlement period refers to the duration between the date your order is delivered and the date you get paid for that order.

What are the different payment settlement periods and when do they apply?

TikTok Shop applies different payment settlement periods based on your shop type and account activity. The applicable settlement period determines when your earnings will be released after an order is delivered.
There are four settlement periods that may apply to your shop:

• Express Settlement: 1 calendar days
  • Applies to eligible TikTok Shop Mall shops that meet specific criteria.
• Accelerated Settlement: 3 calendar days
  • Applies by default to shops that have passed the New Shop Adjustment Period.
• Standard Settlement: 8 calendar days
  • Applies by default to shops that have not passed the New Shop Adjustment Period.
• Extended Settlement: 15 calendar days
  • TikTok Shop may adjust your settlement period based on an evaluation of your shop's activity, overall account risk, or any detected policy violations. As a result, certain shops may have their settlement period extended to 15 calendar days.

Settlement periods are assessed dynamically and may change over time as your shop's activity and performance evolve.
Note: In cases where there are indications of abnormal or potentially harmful activity, we may further extend the settlement period to a maximum of 30 calendar days to protect buyers and maintain platform integrity.
Notwithstanding the above, we may also trial different settlement periods for your shop from time to time.

Subsidy/Compensation Payout Delays

In order to better protect the platform from fraud, settlement periods for platform-funded shipping subsidies or compensation for non-seller-fault reasons may only occur around 3 calendar days after order completion. Actual settlement timing may vary in circumstances where further investigations are necessary and is subject to TikTok Shop's discretion (acting reasonably).
All other settlement periods remain unchanged and are determined in accordance with this policy.

When can my shop qualify for Express Settlement?

Your shop will qualify for Express Settlement when it meets the following conditions in a given month:

• You and your shop must not be flagged for any fraudulent shipping activities.
• Your shop must have passed the probation period for new shops.
• Your shop must be part of TikTok Shop Mall with a Store Rating of at least 4.5

Do take note that if your shop is currently enjoying Express Settlement, but fails to meet the criteria this month, then Accelerated Settlement will apply to it next month, depending on the platform's assessment criteria.
We may also apply Standard or Extended Settlement to your shop if we detect any other breaches of our policies.

Where can I check my shop's Settlement Period?

There are two ways you can check which Settlement Period applies to your shop:

• Seller Center > Account Health > Shop Health
  
• Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > To Settle
  

How will Creator Commissions be affected?

In accordance with the Creator Terms of Use, a creator can only receive their commission after the seller's orders are settled. As such, the payout of creator's commissions will depend on the settlement period type of the seller.
