TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Application Guidelines

These TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Application Guidelines ("Guidelines") set out TikTok Shop Certified Trainers' qualification, certification process and the certification renewal process. The Guidelines may be improved and amended from time to time, and it is your responsibility to regularly check the Guidelines to understand the latest qualification, certification and renewal requirements.

A. TikTok Shop Certified Trainers' Qualifications

An applicant may be certified as a TikTok Shop Certified Trainer if she/he meets the following qualifications:

1. She/He has attained the age of 18 years;
2. She/He is a Malaysian citizen or a Permanent Resident of Malaysia;
3. She/He is of good character;
4. She/He possesses the following:
   1. Excellent public speaking and communication skills;
   2. Ability to deliver training in a creative and informative manner; and
   3. Passion to promote shoppertainment education; and
5. She/He is an employee or officer who is employed or engaged by a TikTok Shop Partner

TikTok Shop may, in exercise of its absolute discretion, waive certain applicants from complying with the item (2), and (5).

B. Application and Certification Process

Overview

TikTok Shop carefully selects and certifies a qualified person as a TikTok Shop Certified Trainer. To be selected and certified as a TikTok Shop Certified Trainer, an applicant shall (i) meet the Qualification requirement (as set out in Section A above), (ii) make an application before the application close date; (iii) pass the evaluation.

Step 1. How to Apply?

The applicant shall click the application link and provide all the required details in the application form. The application shall be submitted before the application close date, failing which, the application will not be considered.

Step 2. Assessment of the Application

Upon receipt of submission, TikTok Shop shall assess the applicant's application and select some shortlisted applicants based on quality & standards of the submitted materials from Step 1.
All the shortlisted applicants shall be notified within fourteen (14) working days from the application close date. If you do not receive any notification within fourteen (14) working days from the application close date, this would mean that you are not shortlisted and please try again in the future.

Step 3: Evaluation

There will be two parts of evaluation the shortlisted applicants must pass.

Step 3.1. TTSCT Program Course Evaluation

Shortlisted applicants shall receive a link to access the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program course materials and exams. Shortlisted applicants shall:

1. read all the course materials;
2. sit for the course exam before the given date; and
3. achieve >=90% passing rate for Key Knowledge Modules under TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program courses.

Key Knowledge Modules refers to the course modules for "Basic" & "Level Up".
Failing which, the shortlisted applicants do not pass the evaluation and will not be certified as a TikTok Shop Certified Trainer.

Step 3.2. Panel Evaluation

Upon passing the TTSCT Program Course Evaluation, shortlisted applicants shall conduct a presentation of all course modules of their choice for the modules they want to be certified for, in turn receiving the module badge when they pass. This presentation shall be presented to the evaluation panel.
There will be 3 panelists evaluating the presentation and determining if a shortlisted applicant passes the evaluation. If the shortlisted application passes the evaluation, he shall proceed to Step 4, otherwise, he will not be certified as a TikTok Shop Certified Trainer.

Step 4: Certification Process

All the successful applicants will receive a confirmation link to participate in the TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Program.
The successful applicants shall agree and accept the following agreement and guidelines:

1. TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Agreement; and
2. TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Promotional Guidelines.

Upon agreement and acceptance of the aforesaid agreement and guidelines, the successful applicants shall be certified as TikTok Shop Certified Trainers. Each Certified Trainer will be:-

1. conferred with TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Digital Certificate;
2. conferred with TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Basic Module Badge;
3. admitted into the TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Directory, which is available at the TikTok Shop Academy; and
4. Given a membership within TikTok Shop Trainers community.

C. TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Digital Certificate & Module Badge

Both TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Digital Certificate and TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Module Badge shall be valid for 6 months from the date of certification.

TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Digital Certificate

A TikTok Shop Certified Trainer shall receive a digital certificate which confirms that he has passed all the evaluations and has been certified.

TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Module Badges

TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Module Badges can be displayed to the public to indicate the expertise of a certified trainer.
A certified trainer may acquire additional badges if he:

• passes the exam accompanying another course module; and
• Passes the evaluation for the course module so selected.

D. Certification Renewal

For the purpose of improvements, and ensuring quality and standards of the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers, certification is valid for 6 months only. Prior to the expiration of the certification, TikTok Shop Certified Trainers will be notified of details of renewal, e.g. whether conditions have been met, and further actions for renewal. TikTok Shop Certified Trainers that do not meet renewal conditions, will be removed from the TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Program.
Renewal Conditions & Process:-To renew the certification status, all the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers are required to pass the following 3 requirements:

Completion of TikTok Shop Certified Trainer Program Courses & Exams

All trainers will be required to undergo and complete TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program course materials and exams.

Training Content Quality

During the 6 months' certification period, TikTok Shop will require all the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers to send Net Promoter Score survey links ("NPS") to all their training attendees for the attendees to assess the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers' training content quality rating based on the following condition:-

• As a requirement for renewal, all the Certified Trainers are required to maintain an average NPS score of 80% or higher for at least three (3) training engagements.
• Any failure to send the NPS links to the training attendees will result in the rejection of certification renewal application.

Minimum Training Sessions

During the 6 months' certification period, each TikTok Shop Certified Trainer is required to deliver at least six (6) physical or online training sessions. For the purpose of this requirement, the training sessions can be a combination of:

• TikTok Shop Certified Trainer organised trainings; and/or
• At least two (2) TikTok Shop organised trainings, where TikTok Shop Certified Trainer participates as a trainer

TikTok Shop reserves the discretion to decide if a certification renewal request made by the trainer is to be allowed or otherwise rejected.
The TikTok Shop Certified Trainer is required to notify TikTok Shop at least 14 days before their physical or online training sessions.

E. General

1. All applicants are responsible for any and all expenses incurred in applying for the certification in the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program. Applicants will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred in making such application.
2. If there is any interference with the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program in any way, or if it is not possible to conduct the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers program as TikTok Shop reasonably anticipated, TikTok Shop reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Applicant, or to modify this Guidelines, or to suspend, terminate or cancel the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program, as appropriate.
3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, TikTok Shop (including its respective officers, employees and agents) shall not be responsible for and exclude all liability (including those (except for death or personal injury) resulting from negligence), for any death, personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of (i) the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program; (ii) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under TikTok Shop's control); or (iii) any unauthorised access or third party interference.
4. In the event of any dispute arising from the TikTok Shop Certified Trainers Program, or relating to the interpretation of these Guidelines, TikTok Shop's decision shall be final and binding on all parties.
5. If any of the terms herein are found to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then they shall be deleted from these Guidelines and the remaining terms shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
6. These Guidelines shall be interpreted and construed according to laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Guidelines, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre ("AIAC"). Such arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the AIAC for the time being in forces ("Rules"), which Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into these Terms.
